Bikes on the Brae is a family-run bike hire business on the Isle of Skye, helping visitors explore the island’s stunning landscapes on two wheels.
Previously based in Portree, we are now moving our hire location to Staffin from May 2025. This new base is perfectly situated for cycling to iconic sights such as the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing.
We offer high-quality bike rentals, including e-bikes, to suit all levels of riders. Our team is passionate about cycling and dedicated to providing excellent customer service, ensuring you have a fantastic and hassle-free experience.

At Bikes on the Brae, we're not just about bikes. While we love helping people explore Skye on two wheels, we also understand that cycling isn't for everyone. That's why we welcome anyone to come and see us for locally roasted speciality coffee.
